Sitting Bull's Journey

Sitting Bull, born around 1831, was a respected Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux leader and a symbol of resistance during the conflicts between Native Americans and settlers. Known for uniting tribes and defending their land and culture, he played a key role in the 1876 Battle of Little Bighorn, where Lakota and Cheyenne forces defeated General Custer. A skilled warrior and spiritual leader, Sitting Bull’s life ended tragically in 1890, but his legacy of strength, unity, and cultural pride continues to inspire today.
